Computer Languages History

OldLetter_XSmall Found this last month but only now found time to blog about it.

While browsing back in June I stumbled upon Victor Shatochin's blog - fella who is based in my hometown - Kharkov, Ukraine. The blog is mostly in Russian, some Ukrainian and some English.

The post on Victor's blog I found link to Computer Languages History website - very interesting reading especially for those who haven't been programming for long time.

The first programming language I learned while in the University was Fortran 77 (ehhh) but my first real program was written in Borland Turbo Pascal 5.5 (the job I got paid for that is :) and later in Turbo Prolog. Those were my pre-Microsoft days ;-)
