As found via Brad Abrams there is new great book is coming out - Framework Design Guidelines : Conventions, Idioms, and Patterns for Reusable .NET Libraries by Brad Abrams and Krzysztof Cwalina dedicated specifically to Design Guidelines of Frameworks with .NET 2.0. I think the book will be good for .NET 1.1 as well.
The book is not out yet (September 14th) but I already pre-ordered it from Amazon :) I've been following both Brad's and Krzysztof's blogs and know the book is going to be excellent!
I really look forward to reading this one. There were only two books on coding guidelines, standards and best practices for .NET developers until now - The Visual Basic.NET Style Guide: The Essential Companion for Development Teams and Individuals by Tim Patrick and Practical Guidelines and Best Practices for Microsoft Visual Basic and Visual C# Developers by Francesco Balena - I read both of them and now need something fresh :)
And while we are on the standards subject, there was also T-SQL Coding Standards article published recently on MSDN.
Update: linking to MSDN website is a pain... I hope at some point they will stop changing darn links or at least redirect to new ones. The T-SQL stardards link above now points at a copy of the original MSDN document.
